Masada Challenge

Discover the secrets of Masada beyond the walls and visit archaeological complexes in challenging locations. This hiking route includes a demanding walk along the cliff's edge, featuring ladders and handholds. Participants are secured with a harness, helmet, and safety cable throughout the route. Suitable for experienced hikers aged 10 and up.

Walking Tour to the Land of the Sinkholes

A new and unique concept: a walking tour to hidden springs near the Dead Sea, where we will explore sinkholes, gypsum pits, natural salt sculptures,
and salt diamonds. This experience includes a scientific explanation of geological processes. The tour covers approximately 3 kilometers, over 4 hours and is suitable for the general public,
with groups of at least 10 participants.

Tel Arad National Park:
Ideal for lovers of archaeology, history, and blooming nature. Explore ancient ruins and enjoy seasonal flora in a historic setting.

Masada:
A historic fortress and UNESCO World Heritage site, offering stunning views of the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea. Discover its rich history and enjoy panoramic desert vistas.

Ein Gedi Nature Reserve:
Experience desert landscapes and swim in refreshing freshwater springs. This reserve combines natural beauty with opportunities for relaxation and exploration.

Nahal Tze'elim:
A circular trail showcasing the shallow valleys of the Arad Basin. Partially overlapping with the Israel Trail, this route is suitable for all ages and offers scenic views.

Ein Bokek, the Short Trail:
Bokek Stream is one of the shortest streams in the Judean Desert, measuring only about 15 kilometers in length.
It offers a short hike of just two hours and drains part of the desert plateau area.
The small stream has carved its way through the soft rocks, creating a deep and impressive canyon with a stunning waterfall and cool pools.

Hatzbim Trail:
An easy family-friendly trail starting from Ahvah Street in Arad. In September, the trail features a concentration of blooming autumn crocuses.

Nahal Kidod and Moa'v Observation Point:
A trail near the hotel starting at the intersection of Tzur and Mishmar Streets. Follow the green-marked path east to Nahal Kidod, ending with a panoramic view at Moa'v Observation Point.

Israel Trail Segment 30 - Mount Amassa to Arad:
A special segment of the Israel Trail with fantastic views year-round. Enjoy colorful blooms from February to mid-April, with iris blossoms in March.

Israel Trail Segment 32 - Arad to Tze'ira Pool:
Departing from Arad towards the Dead Sea via Kfar Hanokdim. Experience the desert plateau's geology, ancient wells, and Bedouin settlement. A medium difficulty trail with a steep descent, best suited for experienced hikers. An off-road vehicle can reach a nearby point, but a vehicle guard is recommended.
